9:15-9:45 - Registration and introductions
9:45-11:00 - Neuro-informed Approaches for the MTA, Jesse Dollimont
This presentation will provide an overview of neuro-affirming and NMT approaches in music therapy. We will focus on how looking through the lens of neuroscience can inform and inspire your music therapy practice. We will explore the basic application of NMT techniques across clinical settings and discuss the latest research around neuro-affirming clinical practice across allied health disciplines, and how music therapists can play a critical role in providing neuro-affirming and evidence-based clinical support and consultation.
11:00-12:00 - Annual General Meeting and Regulation Update
12:00-1:00 - Catered Lunch
