MTAA Regulation Q&A - Thursday, March 19, 7pm
February 25, 2026 Updates - ACTA Newsletter (for full details)
We need you to take 10-15 minutes to complete the ACTA workforce survey—and to help us reach the entire counselling profession in Alberta. ACTA has been given an important opportunity to contribute directly to this process. We are bringing forward profession-specific insight into the experiences and system impacts faced by unregulated counselling therapists and psychotherapists—and this survey is critical.
This survey is intended for ALL counsellors practicing in Alberta who are not yet regulated, not just ACTA members. Please share widely. It closes March 24, 2026.
As a thank you for participating in the ACTA Workforce Survey, ACTA is offering a draw for ten (10) $100 ACTA membership credits.
ACTA Town Halls:
ACTA will be offering a series of upcoming town halls to share a political and system update on regulation and workforce, explain why ACTA’s upcoming workforce survey participation is critical, and discuss the role of ACTA membership at this stage of the profession’s development. These sessions will be facilitated by ACTA’s CEO & Registrar, Board Chair, and members of the Board. There is an opportunity to hear directly from ACTA leadership and ask questions.
